1. Aligned with fairness, what are the stumbling blocks or your struggles for not showing it
to your brethren explicitly? Recall your experiences that allow you to reflect at times of
greed, being biased, and where you are harsh in judging others? What happen?
 Fairness means that every person receives a treatment they wanted and what he or she
needs to be successful. Basically, fairness is hard to gain same with trust whereas fairness
should be also be build. It is hard to be just and fair to those who are not unfortunately
deserving. People tend to desire being fair to others to avoid conflicts with them however
the tendency is, some of the few people does not understand what fairness really is.
Unfortunately, I experienced numerous unfairness treatment to other people especially
when it comes to friendship, I was being harshed with my friend and this goes like when I
unintentionally, unworldly, tell that it should be like this or like that, I just obviously
receive harsh and oppressive replies to them and it saddens to knowingly it is not my
intention to make hard with but either way. Secondly, I encountered one-sidedness wherein
I chooses my very close friend all over again because hopefully and expectedly she will
choose me but it does not favour me. Friendship is one of the hardest relationships that a
person could ever have and being fair with friends are not easy to possess when it comes
to the decision-making if it is you are in this sire or to the other one. As I experienced
unfairness with other people, it is really challenging and demanding knowing that there
will be someone that is left out.

2. How would you define fairness? Are there any significance to show fairness to those who
treated you unfairly or unequally? What are your thoughts about the maxim “life is unfair”?
 A true fairness would be where everyone has the same and/or there is an equitable system
of balance, and no one is left – those who worked harder get more than the lazy. The fair
treatment to those who treated you unfairly depends on yourself, regardless of whether they
are unsportsmanlike to you but if you consider yourself a just one then you would treat
them fairly. To the third law of physics: For every action there is an equal and opposite
reaction. It means, mostly, when people are being treated unfairly they will react not only
to remove the unfairness but they return want more. However, I complained about the
unfairness of life does not do me any good. For instance, I studied hard but ended up failing
the exam. Also, when someone wants me to give what they want but in contrast, they would
not give anything if I asked too although it is not necessary to give in return but I have the
expectations since I gave them what they wanted. All those unfairly happenings that I’ve
experienced, instead, I focus on my unique attributes and accept them as a gifts. The
important thing is not to let the belief of others that life is not fair because it is really not.
But sometimes in some situations life not being fair has actually worked in my favor,
unknowingly. The idea of fairness is not actually attainable, it is a pure penumbra for
wishful thinking.

3. Knowing fairness as one of the essential pillar to possess, how would you sustain and
maintain this to be the source for others to adopt it? What could be the impeding challenges
that you need to surpass and go through? Identify them, reflect on them.
 Before sustaining fairness within the self, it should build trust with others through the fair
distribution of organizational resources and simply the just treatment to all the people that
surrounds themselves. Some says, fairness is a damaging concept when someone only
thinking about other people being fair to them. However, when thinking about fairness in
terms of how they treat people would most likely to treat them and fairness can make the
life easier more productive. Concerning the maintaining of being fair is somehow difficult
however the secret is showing that person sees both sides – from their point of view and
can understand how they might decide whether the person were fair or either. Basically,
what actions that a person make to others whether fair or unfair, in return, they will also
make what actions particularly they have received. For instance, a fair treatment to people
that surrounds a person will totally be treated fairly but the sad part is, only a few people
can truly understand what really it is. There are people who is not deserving of the fair
treatment they are receiving, for example, those who work hard on studying their exam and
those who are not. The one who study their lessons must passed the exam than those lazy
ones. However, the lazy ones want to be treated the same way, in here, the principle fairness
comes in.

4. The Church urges the believer to adhere the lesson about fairness, where fairness is rooted
on the bible phrase, “As you did it to the least of theses brethren, you did it to me.” What
are your thoughts about it? Who are your brethren? What does the Church challenge you
to do?

5. Compose a prayer that express the value of FAIRNESS.
