    SEIU UHW MEMBERS

    SHOULD U VOTE YES ON THE


    NEW CONTRACT?
    This week you will be voting on the new contract. Before
    voting you should consider the following:

    - The information/propaganda released by Takeaway Dave


    Regan telling you to vote yes does not even mention the
    significant concessions made.

    - The takeaways are in the “Tentative Agreement” and this


    needs to be put online for all members to read before
    voting.

    - The final negotiations were done behind a closed door, in


    an alcohol filled room, with no Kaiser member present

    - Despite the propaganda piece saying that Kaiser is the


    only one contributing to the Education/Political Slush
    Fund, you are paying it in lost wages.

    - Kaiser was willing to give 17% over 5 years which is


    greater than the 3% per year for 4 years. Behind closed
    doors with no members present, Dave got his slush fund.
