Introduction
Introduce topic Gender Discrimination Still Exists
Credibility I am interested in this topic and a research was conducted.
Background of topic The findings of the World Economic Forum’s most recent Gender
Gap Report for example, tell us that Malaysia ranked 101 out of 149
countries, indicating that gender inequality is still a very real issue in
our country.
Central Idea Various aspects that shows the gap between women and men
proven that gender discrimination exist.
Body

Description of data 1. This graph shows the score of gender equality on various
fields in Malaysia.

2. This graph shows women in Malaysia has the lowest gender
equality on political empowerment.
Analysis of data 3. Malaysia has perfect score in educational attainment, thus
ranking Malaysia number one in providing educational.

4. Malaysia has various score in various fields, some of them
are quite low an some of them are quite average.
Description of data 1. This graph shows Malaysia’s male and female labor force

(Chart 2) participation from 2000 to 2018.


2. This graph shows labor force participation for both gender is
at the lowest 2008 to 2010.
Analysis of data 3. Malaysia labor force participant is lower than male
throughout the year.

4. Female in Malaysia shows a sharp participation in labor force
in 2013.
Conclusion
Conclusion Both the bar chart and the line graph show a clear contrast of gap

between men and women. This is proven that the gender
discrimination still exists between men and women in various
aspects.
Recommendation To reduce this gender gap and gender discrimination, the society
has to allow create bigger opportunity for the success of women.
This can be done by starting with diminishing the cultural stereotype
that stated women just have to take care of her husband and
children.
