Samson College of Science and Technology Conduct a Educational tour on PNP Camp Crame

Crime Laboratory and Museum On September 20,2019 At 7:00 Am, the Criminology Students

Starts to Walk to go to Camp Crame to Start the Educational Tour. First, we go to the Museum

and the officers that been on Duty in the Museum they showed us the History of Philippine

National Police, they showed us there on how the Philippine National Police Before works and

what they called before and also the ranks before and now. They showed us to the KKDAT

(KabataanKontraDroga At Terorismo) that we’ve been attended Last year, they discussed us on

how they will prevent the youth on using illegal drugs that destroys Futures/Dreams of every

Kids and also to Prevent/Avoid the on Joining the Terrorist group that fight against the

Government. After the Discussion about it they Tour us on the Museum, We saw the Uniforms

that been Used Before and Now in the Museum even the Belts and Shoes they used before are

there displayed for the People to know that the Philippine national Police Evolution of uniforms

from Before and Now, We saw also different Awards and Achievements of the PNP in other

Countries that they’d Partner on the Studies or Trainings that conducted in other Country. We

Saw the Painting of the SAF 44 that been killed in Mindanao. We saw the the awards of the

Previous/Pasts Chief, PNP of the Philippine National Police and there’s a Display Photo and

story about the Chief, PNP before, there’s so many Chief, PNP that been Hold the whole

Philippine National Police and control them to Perform the Duty of a Police to Serve and Protect

the Community from the Offenders so that the People From the Community will Live in Peace.

After the we saw the Different Uniforms we go downstairs to look on the different kinds of Guns
that used by our Predecessor, they used Rifles like m16 rifle was a 5.56mm automatic rifle with a

20-round magazine that made on 1964, Ak47also called Kalashnikov Model 1947, Soviet assault

rifle, possibly the most widely used shoulder weapon in the world , M14 rifles are officially the

united states rifle, M1 Garand is the first semi-automatic rifle that was used in World War 2.

There’s also had the different Submachine guns like MP40 that had been used by the Germans,

there’s also Rifle Sniper like Kar98k, etc. there’s Different Kinds of Pistols, There’s even a

Machine Gun, even a Shotgun and Mortar, The Uzi is a submachine gun that is one of the first

weapon to use a telescoping bold design. there’s also the Communicator that they used to talk to

anyone far from them so that they can tell something about their works, etc.These weapons that

been used before and I forgot if these guns is used in Gen. Aguinaldo’s Time but yet I’m amazed

to look on the Guns/Weapons that been used by our Predecessors, I guess they used some of

these guns when World War 2 occurred on 1942 to 1944 when the Japanese was invading the

Philippines but the Philippine Resistance Fought Back to maintain and to get the Freedom that

the Filipino’s wanted.


After the Museum we go the Crime

Laboratory, They let us roam to in the

building to see what was inside the

building and they let us saw what was the

different works of every division that been

functioning inside the Crime Laboratory.

They discuss and told us on how they

identify the suspects and also to identify if

they’re also involve on other kinds of

crimes by showing the physical

appearance of the suspect and they let us

go to the morgue when they examine the

body of the Deceased Person so that they

will know on how they Die and when did the Death Occurred. On the morgue, as you can saw on

the Photo above there’s a skeleton structure that they recover and these skeletons are belong to

the Japanese Military Back when Japan and Philippine had a War or the World War 2. They

showed us the different divisions that have been functioning inside the Crime Laboratory.

There’s 10 division in the Crime Laboratory. The First is the DNA Analysis Division when the

Police Officers in this division works on finding or looking for the DNA of the Criminal so that

they can identify or to solve a Crime. Second is SOCO or Scene Of Crime Operations, they

works on a crime scenes which they investigate on to find unnecessary things that been used to

make a crime. Thirds is Polygraph Division, in this division they procedure that measures and
records several physiological indicators such as blood pressure, pulse, respiration, and skin

conductivity while a person is asked and answers a series of questions. The Fourth is the

Fingerprint Identification Division, in this division they identify a Person or Suspects by

studying the Fingerprints of a Human being. Fifth is Medical/Medico Legal Division, in which

they are the one who do the identification of a person’s organ doing autopsy that judges and

identifies how the person died or what is cause of death of a certain person to make some final

decision that can help in the investigation. Sixth is Physical Identification Division, in this

division they study the Physical Appearances of a Person to know if they are involve on a

Crimes. Seventh is Questioned Document Examination Division that is being used in the court of

law and its purpose is to provide evidence about a suspicious or questionable document using

scientific process and methods. Eight is The Chemistry Division in which they examine the

chemicals that have been used in the crime scene. Ninth the Firearms Identification in which they

are the one who identifies the bullets and guns that had been used in a crime scene and they also

examine if the gun used in a crime is related to other crime Then lastly is the Forensic

Photography Division on which they take a photograph of a Suspect in different angles to know

the Shape, scars and other things that can identify him/her when if they happen to commit a

crime so that they can identify easily by our PNP.
