ALCOPLA Composite Panels provide excellent
sound and thermal insulation, fire resistance,
is lightweight, and can easily be fabricated to
any size, angle, or radius. Our prefabricated
panels can easily be installed for retrofit or new
buildings.

Fire Ready Information
ALCOPLA’s Composite Panels are also available
as a fire-ready product, ALCOPLA FR. ALCOPLA
FR has slightly different components, however
equal performance. It is certified through
NFPA285, ASTM E119, and ASTM E84.
ALCOPLA’s Composite Panels are composed of two, coil-coated metal skins
laminated between a low-density, polyethylene core. Both metal skins are
coil-coated with PVDF (KYNAR 5000) resin-based polyvinylidene fluoride, then
put through a high temperature stove of approximately 287° C. This process
ensures an even balance of color, gloss, consistency, weather tolerance, corrosion
resistance, and color retention on all ALCOPLA panels. The bottom side is
treated with chromate or wash-coated to provide long-term corrosion resistance.
ALCOPLA’s Composite Panels are also available in a variety of other finishes—such
as Physical Vapor Deposition (PVD), anodized, and other specialty finishes.
