2) The Friends of Jesus Adventurer Club meets next Sabbath,
October 19th from 4:00pm to 6pm
3) Weekly interactive Study of God's Word will resume after
lunch next Sabbath, October 19th 2:30 p.m.
4) Are you seeking to improve your walk with God and would
like a team of fellow growing Christians to assist you along
your journey? Every Wednesday @ 7:00PM.
5) Parents with Children: The Mother’s room is available for
parents with infants and toddlers. Resources in the room is
not available to your child(ren)
6) Security Reminder - Parents and guardians please be aware
of your child/children whereabouts in church. Your
child(ren) MUST always BE in your company.
7) October is Pastor Appreciation Month! Everyone is
encouraged to pray for Pastor Atencio and his family, and to
honor them with acts of kindness.
8) October 15 - A group of seniors from Mississauga will be
giving an eukelee recital for the seniors in London at the
North London Adventist Church, 800 Fleet Street at 11:30 am
Lunch also be provided for everyone attending.
9) October 27 - Outreach to the homeless continues!
Volunteers are needed to serve meals to the group. Parking is
available behind the building at 696 Dundas Street Ark Aid
Christian Mission. If you can help, please speak to Teresa
Ferreira.
Diversity and Homecoming with guest speaker Pastor Frank
Dell'Erba of the New Life Seventh-day Adventist church in
Oshawa. Plan to invite your family and friends to join in
praising God together. An ethnic international potluck lunch
will follow.
11) Community Services- Sponsor a Family. To help a needy
family this Christmas, speak to Teresa Ferreira or put your
donation in an envelope and mark “Sponsor A Family”.
12) Make a Joyful Noise!!! Come and raise your voice in song;
Choir Practices resume this fall at a new day and time.
Practices will now be Sabbath at 3:30 pm every other week!
The first practice will be October 19th. New members

13) Community Service is in need of 5oo packages for the
homeless. Donations of toiletries, socks, gloves/hats and
other food items are welcomed. Please see list in foyer or
speak to Teresa Ferreira or any member of the Community
Services Team for more detail.
14) Treasury - Church Giving Made Easy. A debit terminal is
available in the church foyer for your convenience in giving.
Your ongoing faithful financial support to the church is
appreciated.
15) Should you require a pastoral visit at home or in hospital,
please let Pastor Atencio know. The elders and
deacons/deaconesses are also available to visit and pray with
you. Please be aware that due to privacy laws, your
permission is required to include your name on the prayer list
in the bulletin.
16) Park Manor Care (owned and operated by the SDA Church) is
seeking qualified CEO applicants who will capably embrace
the responsibility for administrative operations to implement
the Strategic Plans of Care for our 100-bed personal care
home and 60-suite independent senior’s apartments. This
Winnipeg-based, full-time position is available beginning
November 2019. Applicants will preferably have a Business
 Administration degree plus 510 years of experience in Sermon Notes
healthcare administration and will be committed to serving in
our growing Adventist community featuring 1,000 members, 9
churches, 2 care homes, 1 senior’s lodge, and 1 academy.
