MRI
MRI - WRIST LEFT

TECHNIQUE :
T1 - T2 - IR axials & coronals, IR sagittals.
CLINICAL HISTORY : On and off pain during movements.
FINDINGS :
Minimal synovial effusion in the ulnocarpal and piso-triquetral joints.
Alignment of wrist joint is maintained.
Triangular fibrocartilage complex is normal in thickness with patchy T2 PDFS hyperintensities near the ulnar
attachment – likely Edema with strain pattern.
Heterogenous signal intensity noted in the prestyloid recess in the region of ulnomeniscal homologue – likely
Edema.
Radius & ulna appear normal. No significant signal abnormality / lytic lesion noted.
Tiny fairly marginated 6 x 3 mm oval T1 / T2 hypointensity in the capitate - benign - likely bone island.
Rest of the carpals and metacarpals appear normal in shape and signal morphology to the extent seen.
No avascular necrosis.
