Student Responsibilities
This course will involve reading, listening, and follow up activities and discussions. We are learning about
cultures and their music, so make sure you have consistent access to Canvas. If you use a phone or tablet to
access the listening examples I would advise using headphones so you can hear clearly.
On the third unexcused absence, your grade will drop a full grade. Hence, on your third unexcused absence,
if your grade is a B it will drop to a C. Seven or more unexcused absences will result in your failure of this
course. If you are tardy three times, the fourth will count as an absence.
