Senior Researcher, The SMERU Research Institute, an independent research center focusing
on poverty related issues, social safety net programs, and public policies, 2001–up to now.
Crisis Impact Senior Researcher, Social Monitoring and Early Response Unit (SMERU), a
social and monitoring unit administrated by The World Bank, Funded by AUSAID, ASEM, and
USAID, 1999–2000.
Individual Consultant, The World Bank, Residential Staff on Indonesia, Jakarta. Worked with
Andrea Silverman Ph.D., to assist with the preparation and monitoring of the impact of
drought in Eastern Indonesia and development of the Labor-Intensive Village Work Program
(in East Nusa Tenggara, West Nusa Tenggara, South East Sulawesi and South Sulawesi),
1998–1999.
Individual Consultant (short term), Second East Java Urban Development Program (EJUDP-II)
