WEIGHTED FACTOR SCORING MODEL

From the weighted factor scoring model we can conclude that the
industrial areas has
the highest scoring based on the selection criteria. Industrial areas can be
chosen as the best location to build up a factory of Momo Shower Gel.
Industrial areas support almost all of the selection provided.
 The strengthening health and wellness trend
in Malaysia led to a preference for bath and
shower ranges incorporating natural
ingredients. Using product with natural
ingredients is important in order to minimise
exposure to chemical component.
 Body shower gel saw strong demand from
Malaysians. More consumers are switching from
bar soap to body shower gel due to changing
lifestyles.

 Momo Shower Gel is a Halal personal care

product. In 2017, there was rising demand for
halal-certified beauty and personal care
products, and bath and shower was no
exception.
, We were plan to sell our product in Watson’s,
Guardian, Giant, Tesco and AEON because this
place usually gained attention amongst
consumers. We also designed eye-catching
packaging to attract people to buy our Momo
Shower Gel.

 We will consistently be moderate from the price

points offered by others company that provide
organic shower gel.
 The advertising and promotion will be through
brochures, newspaper and commercial such as
television, radio and social media. The plan is
make a TV commercial after the work time
which is at the time 5 pm until 10 pm. We
chose that time because that is when most
people watch television.
 We are going to be one of the organic based
shower gel, which will put us at both
advantages and disadvantages. We will be
known as one of the organic based shower
gel supplier in Malaysia and international,
but a disadvantage of being so expensive.
The price for one bottle of Momo Shower Gel
( 300 ml ) is RM 15 .
 Male and Female 18-40 years
old

 High income groups

 Upper middle class

Strength
The product is an organic product which is skin
friendly and environment friendly. It also does not
cause any harm to the skin.

Weakness
It is a new product in the market, so people will feel
hesitated to use it. The rate of adaptation will be
less. There will be low sales at the beginning with
negative profits. Some of Malaysians people are
unaware of the usage of organic shower gel, so it will
be difficult for the company to have a market
position
 Opportunities
Since it is only one name with only one smell,
we could make several smells and colours to
correspond to each name, such as making a
Momo shower gel with lime.

 Threats
Most all body washes come in several fragrances,
and so far we only have one which is mom
flower. That puts us in a tough spot because
people might get tired of the same smell.
1. PREPARATION OF RAW MATERIALS
2. SAPONIFICATION PROCESS OF SOAP
MANUFACTURING
3. GLYCERIN REMOVAL

4. SOAP PURIFICATION

5. FINISHING
 Raw materials are selected on the basis of various
factors including cost, human and environmental
safety, compatibility with other ingredients and
the performance characteristics and appearance
of the final product
 Saponification is a process where you mix an oil or fat with
lye (potassium hydroxide) to form soap
 The oils are fed to settling tank and solid alkali( KOH) are
diluted by adding water
 Then the oils and alkali were allowed to enter soap kettle
for saponification
 Glycerin is more valuable than soap and most of it is
removed for its uses in more expensive cosmetic product.
 Some of the glycerin is left in the soap to make it soft and
smooth
 In soap purification stage, any remaining
potassium hydroxide is neutralized with a weak
acid, like citric acid and 2/3 of the remaining
water is removed to obtain pure soap
 Thefinal stage of industrial soap manufacturing
process is it involves mixing of additives such as
colors and perfume into soap

 The CEO has overall responsibility for creating,
planning, implementing, and integrating the
strategic direction of an organization. This includes
responsibility for all components and departments
of a business. It is also the responsibility of the CEO
to ensure that the organization's leadership
maintains constant awareness of both the external
and internal competitive landscape, opportunities
for expansion, customer base, markets, new
industry developments and standards, and so forth.
 Marketing managers are responsible for
developing, implementing and executing strategic
marketing plans for an entire organization (or lines
of business and brands within an organization) in
order to attract potential customers and retain
existing ones. Their day-to-day tasks include
managing and coordinating marketing and creative
staff, leading market research efforts to uncover
the viability of current and existing products or
services, and liaising with media organizations and
advertising agencies.
 An operations manager is in charge of directing
the company's daily activities for the benefit
of employees, management, investors and
customers. This requires organizing and
synchronizing the activities of
various managers and departments within a
company and making sure the schedules,
meetings and goals of each department work
in harmony.
 Typicalduties include reviewing financial
reports, monitoring accounts, and
preparing activity reports and financial
forecasts. Financial managers also
investigate ways to improve profitability,
and analyze markets for business
opportunities, such as expansion, mergers
or acquisitions.
A research and development (R&D) manager performs a
number of highly important roles within an organization.
They are responsible for research, planning, and
implementing new programs and protocols into their
company or organization and overseeing the development of
new products. The industry in which a research and
development manager works will likely have an impact on
their specific duties, as these professionals often find
employment in fields like healthcare, technology, business,
and pharmaceuticals. The types of products produced by a
pharmaceutical company are likely to be different from those
produced by a technical company, so R&D managers have the
ability to specialize according to their interests.
Mostly administration managers will find themselves
performing human resource tasks such as hiring and training
staff. This may include reviewing applications, conducting
interviews, processing new hire paperwork and providing on
the job training or mentoring to new employees. They may
also conduct performance evaluations, handle disciplinary
actions and process payroll for their staff.

Project Termination
The termination of this project is by termination-by-
starvation.
Termination by starvation can happen for a number of
reasons, such as political, a placated sponsor, or general
budget cuts. Meredith and Mantel argue that termination
by starvation is not an outright act of termination at all,
but rather a willful form of neglect by slowly decreasing
the project budget to the point where the project cannot
possible remain viable.
In this project, the budget has been squeezed until the
project is only a project in name only.
This happened due to the project was originally
suggested by a special client.
The project was assigned to certain members along with
a clerk whose duty is to issue a “no-progress” report once
each quarter.
Extra Useful Information
Building factory near the urban area can increasing the
economic growth and bring more job opportunity to local
peoples. But the bad effect that the factory would cause is the
matter we can’t ignore.
First of all, factory would discharge a mass of
contaminant and release a lot of harmful gas, the river will be
polluted, soil and air near around the community will become
noxious, the people’s health will under serious threaten.
More seriously, there is a big river near our community,
this river is one of the most water resource in our city, it
provides more than half of the city’s people of drinking water.
If factory is build, half the city’s people would be
affected. Thus, the benefit that the factory bring are too less
not compare with the bad influence it caused.
Total fatty material is one of the most important
characteristics describing the quality of soap.
It is defined as the total amount of fatty matter, mostly
fatty acids, that can be separated from a sample after splitting
with mineral acid, usually hydrochloric acid.
Bathing soap is made up of moisturizers and cleansing
agents that work together to soften skin and clean it. Bathing
soap contains low total fatty material (TFM).
Toilet soaps and laundry soaps contains high total fatty
material (TFM). The higher TFM present in soap contributes a
better cleansing agent.
However, total fatty material does not suitable for a
sensitive skin even they are better cleaning agent.
