PRODUCT DESCRIPTION: We are creating an awareness video about cervical
cancer so there is no product involved. It is an awareness video which informs the society about cervical cancer. CERVICAL CANCER: It is a type of cancer that occurs in the the cells of the cervix (the lower part of the uterus that connects to vagina).
TARGET MARKET: Our target audience will be mainly women.
1.On the basis of age our target audience can be divided between two a. Young girls or teenagers who just have started menstruating and are below the age of 20 b. Secondly the women who are above the age of 20 2. On the basis of income class, we will firstly try to spread awareness among the people who are above the poverty line because there is no such plans being started by government which provide subsidies on the vaccination and PAT test. 3. On the basis of marital status: The advertisement will be for both married as well as unmarried women. GOAL: Our goal is to teach society or make them aware about what exactly cervical cancer is and what are its symptoms and how we can avoid the same. The goal is to reduce cervical cancer that many women today are suffering from. TIMING, MEDIA AND REACH: We will mainly cover two mediums: 1. Television: Our advertisement will be shown on channels whose viewers are mostly women or teenagers such as channels showing daily soaps, teenagers channel. Moreover, we can also show it on some news channel and government channels such as DD national. 2. Internet: We can run our advertisement on YouTube where most of the people spend their time. The advertisement could run on videos relating to women, showing some news or providing some information. Timing of the advertisement would be mainly as per the daily soaps or shows. The impact of the advertisement would be that the society will learn what exactly cervical cancer is and how they can prevent it and protect them from further damage. The advertisement would reach to large of women through television and young generation would come to know about the same through YouTube. SCRIPT: The advertisement will begin with a women sitting thinking about the symptoms she is suffering having no idea what she is exactly going through then she finally contacts her friend and they decide to visit a gynaecologist. As soon they visit the gynaecologist they are informed by the doctor that the women is suffering from cervical cancer and nothing could be done except the surgery. The doctor tells them the process how one can prevent the cervical cancer so that other women don’t fall in the trap of the same. The video ends showing what precautions should be taken and what are the vaccinations available to prevent cervical cancer. “GET YOUR CERVIX TREATED TODAY FOR AN UNSTRAINED TOMORROW!” APPEAL: The appeal we would be using will be MORAL APPEAL as we are just spreading awareness about cervical cancer.
