Read the passage below and answer the questions that follow.

The Sepilok Orang Utan Rehabilitation Centre is a


sanctuary for the only native great ape of Asia, the
orang-utan. It is located in Sandakan, Sabah.
Established in 1964, it was originally set up to rescue
orphaned baby orang-utans and prepare them for life
in the jungle. In recent years, the centre has expended
its scope. Now, the centre’s staff also help to educate
people on how to protect the nature. The centre also
provides assistant to other conservation and breeding
programmes for other animals such as the Sumatran rhinoceros.
At the sanctuary, visitors can climb large viewing platforms to see
the orang-utans being taught basic survival skills, from climbing to
socializing with other apes. You have your best chance at seeing these
great apes during feeding times which are at 10.00 a.m. and 2.30 p.m.
Apart from orang-utans, visitors can see so much more of nature in Sepilok
and tourists are welcome to explore the jungle on a network of jungle
trails.
To get to the Sepilok Orang Utan Rehabilitation Centre, start from
the city of Sandakan. At the city’s waterfront market, look for the bus
stand nearby and take a bus ride on the blue bus marked ‘Sepilok Batu
14’. This bus will take you on a 40-minute ride directly to the sanctuary. The
entrance fee on RM30 per adult and RM15 for visitors 18 years and below.
An additional charge of RM10 will be imposed on visitors with video
cameras.
