Learning Outcomes:
At the completion of the module, the trainees must be able to:
1. Identify conference objectives
2. Design conference program
3. Finalize program details

A. Introduction:
This session plan covers portion of the required knowledge, skills and attitude of the unit of
competency “Develop Event Program” in Events Management Services NC III Course. This unit covers the
knowledge, skills, behavior and motivations required to plan and develop proposals and bids for the staging of
meetings and events. Depending on the context, this role could be performed by a wide range of individuals
including event managers, local or regional tourism managers, venue managers and marketing managers.

C. Assessment Plan
1) Testing Conditions:
a) Materials: bond paper, folders, indexer
b) Equipment: computer, projector

2) Venue of the assessment: Practical work area, Contextual learning area

3) Type of assessment:
a) Written test: definition of conference and other event programs, and event details
b) Performance test: Create and Present Conference Program

4) Types of evidence:
a) For written test: Answer sheets, answer key
b) For demonstration: output, event program proposal, Result of Performance Criteria checklist
c) For oral questioning: Acceptable answers for oral questioning and interview

D. Teacher’s Reflection
Trainees had a clear view and full grasp of planning a conference considering the nature and the factors of
the event. At the end of the module, the trainees are all competent as per assessment and evidence plan.
