2. Exclusion Of Supply

2.1 Pit Foundation.

2.2 Supply and installation of curb angle.

2.3 Power isolator points for hydraulic model.

2.4 Conduits for hydraulic dock leveller.

2.5 All civil works.

3. Structural Requirements

3.1 Curb angle for the attachment of the dock leveller are to be firmly casted to the
reinforced concrete, and must be in level to the dock floor.

3.2 Curb angle must be designed to withstand the dynamic loading of the dockleveller.

3.3 The dimension of the pit construction provided by the supplier must be strictly adhered
to.

4. Recommendation

4.1 Loading bay of at least 1.25m for container usage.

4.2 Clear driveway/loading bay of at least 3.5m behind the dock leveller for usage of forklift
for loading/unloading.

4.3 If operation involves high frequency, near height limit and near capacity usage, higher
capacity dock leveller and/or hydraulic units are preferred.

4.4 Isolator and control station location should have clear view of dock leveller’s operation.

5. Supplementary Conditions of Sales

5.1 Time of Delivery ( Subject to Prior Sales )

Approximately ten to twelve ( 10 ~ 12 ) weeks DAP Batam Incoterm ® 2010 upon receipt of
official order, clarification of all technical details and receipt of signed approval drawings,
and settlement of down payment.

5.2 Terms of Payment

30% down-payment upon order confirmation.

70% prior delivery or when ready for delivery on date requested by Buyer and confirmed by
Seller at time of order confirmation, regardless of whether Buyer is ready or not to accept
delivery.

5.3 Price Clause - ( For Supplies within Singapore )

Our prices are exclusive of any goods & services tax ( GST ) or any other taxes or duties
that may be imposed by the Singapore tax authorities or any other relevant or related
authorities. Such taxes or duties, if, any, are for the account of the buyer, including any
subsequent changes in the rates, and these will be applied in accordance to what has been
prescribed by the GST Act, or any other regulations governing taxes and duties in
Singapore.

5.4 Price Clause - ( For Export Supplies )

Where shipments are not arranged by MHE-Demag (S) Pte Ltd, standard-rated goods &
services tax ( GST ) will be charged up-front and reflected in all invoices. Refund of GST
will be made upon the receipt of all relevant documentary proof of export as prescribed by
the GST Act.

5.5 Delivery Clause

Confirmed delivery periods and delivery dates shall apply only from the date all details of the
order have been clarified including clarification of all technical details and other documents
required by the seller to execute the order and are predicated on the purchaser' s
compliance with the payment terms as stipulated under Terms of Payment in the Contract.
Partial delivery shall be permissible. Upon delivery to site, the buyer or buyer’s
representative shall acknowledge receipt and take full custody of the goods. Should
despatch of the goods be prevented by reasons beyond the control of seller, the delivery
periods and delivery dates shall be deemed adhered to if, by the dates agreed upon, the
purchaser is notified that the goods are ready for despatch. In case of request by the
purchaser to delay delivery of the goods, the seller, in addition to any further claims, shall be
entitled to compensation for the cost of intermediate handling and storage of the goods. In
case such delay of delivery of goods exceeds one calendar month, the seller is entitled to
charge the purchaser for loss in interest at a rate of 1% per month of the non-paid portion of
the Contract Price. Excluded are cases of force majeure.

5.6 Validity of Offer

30 days upon date of this offer.

5.7 Warranty

Our equipment is under general warranty for twelve (12) months from taking over by end-
user, or fourteen (14) months after delivery or shipment, whichever comes first. Our
warranty covers manufacturing defect, but not wear & tear, misuse or faults due to poor
maintenance. Should the failure of the equipment be due to defective parts/components,
warranty replacement shall be granted upon Buyer giving sufficient evidence of the
premature failure. The Seller shall give such parts/ components free of charge. Any delivery
costs inclusive of duties to the country of installation shall be to the Buyer' s account
(applicable for overseas installations only). In the event the Buyer requires any service
labour for replacement or supervision the Seller shall charge the Buyer at the current
prevailing rates.

5.8 Technical Clause

All dimensions and data shown in our offer are as accurate as possible during elaboration of
quotation, they may be subject to changes during final design and clarification. Technical
specification in the brochure may vary slightly from Blue Giant Specification.

5.9 Terms of Sales

Our offer is subjected to our standard Terms of sales attached to this offer (Please see
reverse side of covering letter).
