MARKET MILK

RAW MATERIALS

1. Raw milk

Origin: Surendranagar district
Method of delivery: Raw milk is received in Aluminum can/SS can from societies
and raw chilled milk through insulated tanker from chilling /
cooling units and from BMC society the temp of raw chilled
milk should be max 5oC.
Storage condition and shelf After chilling raw milk is stored in silo at below 5oC for not
life: more than 48 hours.
Preparation and/or handling Raw milk is stored at ≤ 5°C before use for not more than 48

5. Milk film
Physical, chemical and Milk film is manufactured from virgin polymer of LDPE and
biological characteristics: LLDPE. As it is a plastic its non-biodegradable. It has very
good heat sealing property. Oxidized flavor develops in milk
if milk is allowed to expose to sunlight. To avoid exposure of
milk to sunlight titanium dioxide (tio2) is added in master
batch during production of film to give opacity to film. (1.6.1
specifications sheet)
