MARKET MILK
RAW MATERIALS
1. Raw milk

Origin: Surendranagar district
Method of delivery: Raw milk is received in Aluminum can/SS can from societies
and raw chilled milk through insulated tanker from chilling /
cooling units and from BMC society the temp of raw chilled
milk should be max 5oC.
Storage condition and shelf After chilling raw milk is stored in silo at below 5oC for not
life: more than 48 hours.
Preparation and/or handling Raw milk is stored at ≤ 5°C before use for not more than 48

Preparation and/or handling Separated cream pasteurize at 80oC for no hold and transfer
before use or processing in to cream storage tank at less than 16oC the processed
cream should not be stored more than 24 hrs. Fresh cream
(Pasteurized) can be use for the preparation of butter.

For local sales up to distance of 50 km. milk is dispatched in covered vehicles and
for dispatches above 50 km in Insulated vehicles.
