zare | tre gruppi in maniera indipendente in modo
che risultino interscambiablli; ad esempio: “a det
blues base; “b" della variante 1 @ "cadenza" della
variante 4.
Queste sequenze sono poi riportate non pit
indicando gli accordi (es. A7) ma i gradi (es. 17)
corrispondenti, cosicché I'allievo possa riprodur-
re ilblues in qualsiasi tonalita. Ad esempio un blues,
in Mi sara composto dai seguenti accord

‘The sequences of chords that follow, in an
ascending order of difficulty, are the basic harmonic
structures of blues ~ in this case in the key of A.
The subdivision into’, "b” and “cadence” is made
so that the student will visualize and memorize
the three groups independently. so that they
become interchangeable. For instance: a’ of basic
blues, “b” of variation 1 and “cadence” of variation
4
‘These sequences are then submitted nolonger
with the chord indications (for instance A7) but the
corresponding scale degrees (e.g. 17),s0 that the
student can reproduce the blues in any key. For
instance, a blues in & will be composed of the
following chords:
