8 UNITING THE TRIANGLE

StrikePoint Golds Porter and Willoughby projects lie within a geological feature called the “Bowser Basin”. During the Lower Jurassic,
thick beds of muds were deposited in a deep sea environment, whilst active volcanism from colliding island arcs and the ancient
JURASSIC VOLCANISM North American continent created pockets of magma that heated and enriched fluids, depositing the gold, silver and copper the area
is known for today. Volcanoes both undersea and around the fringes of the basin contributed to layers of tuff and other
volcaniclastics seen around our properties today.
