EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

KANTO Burger is a snack and refreshment stall that will be


located in Backyard Food District, Capitol Drive, Butuan City. It is a
quick-service kind of food stall where the customers will just sit
near the stall and will watch while their burger is made.

KANTO Burger will hold true to its vision of being a new


concept with an old fashioned feel in order to become a favorite
spot for butuanon natives. As the reported national leader in
money spent in stalls, BXU Food Park is an optimal location for
launching a new business concept. KANTO Burger also hopes to
become a destination for the Hundreds of Butuanons, both local
and foreign, which will happen to visit Butuan City every year
by creating a new product to the Food industry, KANTO Burger
will expect to increase their sales in the first year of the
operation. Through a philosophy of "nothing but the best"
regarding both product and service, KANTO Burger will establish
itself as an exceptional Burger stall in Butuan City. We will
also gain a competitive advantage in take out. This plan outlines
our Business concept, philosophy and forecasted financials. The
owner of the business will invest P50,000 as start up capital to
launch the business on the end of this year.

PRODUCTS AND SERVICES

KANTO Burgers offer a gourmet healthy burger coupled with


exceptional customer service in a comforting atmosphere.
Customers can dine-in and watch the crew while creating their
delicious Burger. The Main product to be offered by Kanto burger
is their specialty of the house burger with a free side of
fries. Then in case if the customer will get thirst they can buy
the drinks at the stall of the owner of the business since it is
agreed by the entire tenant that only one stall supply the
drinks. The description of the product is, it is a burger with
the use of homemade patty which made of healthy ingredients then
layered with sliced tomato, cucumber, lettuce and egg and top
with 2 kinds of sauce.

While the product is been made, the customer enjoy


themselves watching the crew preparing the burger for them not
to get bored and be entertained while waiting and that is our
pride kind of service.

TARGET MARKET

The target market of this product is the general public of


Butuan City. The students from different institutions and the
employees from different company who usually buy during their
break are also counted as our target market.

ECONOMICS

According to Wikipedia, Butuan City is the commercial,


industrial, and administrative center of Caraga region.[19] It
is a strategic trading hub in Northern Mindanao with major roads
connecting it to other main cities in the island such as Davao,
Cagayan de Oro, Malaybalay, Surigao, and soon, Tandag. The total
number of businesses registered in 2013 was 9,619 - reflecting a
growth of 9.86% and almost 3 times that of the next major Caraga
city. New businesses registered numbered 2,032 with a combined
capitalization of P504,598,667, an expansion of 75.63 from 2012.
As further proof of its dynamic economy, Butuan City's local
income reached P330,510,000 in 2013 besting other major cities
in the country. By 2014, its local income is expected to reach
P513,870,000.00 or register a growth of 55%; and total income
(including IRA) will be P1,515,970,000.[21] Butuan City was
ranked 4th and 16th Most Competitive City for the years 2012 and
2014 by the National Competitiveness Council of the Philippines.
More than 260 financial institutions are operating in the city
such as Metropolitan Bank and Trust Company (Metrobank), BDO
Unibank (Banco de Oro), Bank of the Philippine Islands (BPI),
Land Bank of the Philippines (Landbank), Philippine National

trading industry in the region. Insurance companies, led by
Philam Life, are also present in the city.

As we all know, in the food industry, almost all of the


businesses offered this kind of product. In Butuan City, we have

a lot of competitors namely Pedro’s, Minute Burger, R. Kelly,

Jollibee, Mc donalds and many more. But all I can say is that
our business KANTO burgers can compete with these competitors
and we aim to become the leading as compare to them because we
will ensure to provide a burger that is exceptional when it
comes to the taste and the presentation and it is more appealing
and more healthier than any other burgers in Butuan city.

STRATEGIES

PROMOTIONAL – Free taste of our product during the soft


opening of the business, then we also have tarpaulins to be
posted.

PRICING – it is affordable and low in price compare to our


competitor; our burger is worth P45.00 only.

PRODUCT – it is exceptional when it comes to the taste and


the presentation and it is more appealing and healthier.

and it is operated 22 days a week so the total demand is 1760 a
month, then assumed that the expected percentage of the customer

This is the production process of making KANTO Burgers are


as follows:

Mayonnaise Secret Sauces

PROCEDURES
1. Cut the burger bun into half.
2. Grill the beef patty then set aside
3. Spread mayonnaise in the buns
4. Put the patty then layered the tomato, lettuce, cucumber
5. Top with secret sauces

KANTO Burger will operate legal because their business is


registered in DTI and they get also Business permit at the city
hall to operate the business and then paid their taxes as well.
