Kindergarten Session 3

I. LEARNING OBJECTIVES
At the end of the lesson, pupils are expected to:
a. Identify the things used by boys and girls,
Sort objects according to colors
b. Manipulate computer,
Color designated objects: and
c. Share to the class the value of every person’s existence.

II. LEARNING CONTENT


I am a boy, I am a girl
Colors red and yellow

Materials: DLP, Laptop, speaker, worksheets, picture puzzle, Bandura’s Box

IV. LEARNING PROCEDURE


Preliminary Activities
- Opening Prayer
- Cirlce Time
- Health Inspection
- Checking of Attendance
a. Motivation
The teacher will tell a teacher-made story to the class.
1. Who are the characters in the story?
2. What happened to the girls in the story?
3. What do you think will happen if there were no boys to help them?

b. Presentation
The teacher will let pupils solve a picture puzzle of a girl and a boy.
Let the pupils know what are expected of them.

Meeting time 1

c. Discussion
 Differentiate a boy from a girl by showing pictures.
 Show examples of the things used by girls and boys.

Work Period 1
d. Exercises
Exercise 1: Bandura’s Box
The pupils will pick one object from the box and will put the object to the person
using it.
Exercise 2: Knowing Oneself
The teacher will give worksheets to pupils and will let them color the picture of
themselves.
Meeting Time 2
c. Discussion
 Show the colors red and yellow
 Show objects that are colored yellow and red

Pupils will manipulate a short quiz wherein they will be asked to select objects depending on
the color that is asked.

e. Application
Activity: Sorting red/ yellow objects
Given the pictures, pupils will sort objects according to colors.

f. Generalization
Why is it important to have both a girl and a boy in the community?
What are the things used by girls? What about the boys?
Can boys wear the clothes or things that is worn by girls?
Can you name objects that are color red? What about yellow?

g. Evaluation
Worksheets will be given to pupils individually.
