○ One who is knowledgeable about everything relevant to his practice and has
the expected necessary skills to carry out the care.
9. Flexible
○ One who is able to cope and adjust with different situations.
10. Critical thinker
○ One who is able to analyze and evaluate a situation objectively in order to
prioritize and make key decisions.
11. Systematic
○ One who knows how to organize sessions into a sequential or logical order
12. Creative/Resourceful
○ One who is able to use the available resources which involves participants.
13. Knowledgeable
○ One who is able to impart relevant, updated and sufficient input.
14. With sense of humor
○ One who knows how to place an appropriate touch of humor to keep a high
morale for the patient and keep the audience alive.
15. Change agent
○ One who involves the patient actively and is able to shift the responsibility
between them for the patient’s own learning.
16. Empathetic and Caring
○ One who projects the confidence and patience to help them maintain hope or
the sense of continued possibility for growth and change.
17. Psychomotor Skills
○ One who maximizes client comfort and dignity, optimizes the client’s ability to
respond positively, provides the highest level of accuracy of information, and
provides for the most favorable patient outcomes
18. Professional
○ One who involves the characteristics of a nurse that reflects his or her
professional status. These characteristics involve behaviors with regard to self,
patients, others, and the public as they reflect the values of the nursing
profession. They are knowledgeable in their subject matter, conscientious in
their actions, and responsible for themselves and others

○ Consults with and refers to appropriate personnel for any other community
services.
6. Health Educator
○ Improves the health of the people by employing various methods or scientific
procedures to stimulate, arouse and guide people to healthful ways of living.
○ Takes into consideration these aspects of health education.

c. Communication- exchange of information
