REACTION PAPER ON THE ORGANIZATION AND MANAGEMENT STUDY

I. Organization and management study gives a sense of security and oneness to

the employees. An effective management is required for better coordination among

various departments. Employees accomplish task within the stipulated time frame as a

result of effective organization and management. Employees stay loyal towards their

job and do not threat work as a burden. Effective organization and management leads

to a peaceful and positive ambience at the workplace. These are my expectations that

will be discuss and tackled by this symposium to put into the standard settings

regarding organization and management study over the actual reality of what really is

happening.

II. Organization and management helps to extract the best out of each employee so

that they accomplish the tasks within the given time frame. Organization and

management also bins the employees together and gives them a sense of loyalty

towards the organization. The organization and structure has a system that outlines

how certain activities are being directed in order to achieve the goals of an

organization. So meaning, the activities include the rules of the organization, the roles

of each employees or positions and also the responsibilities carried by each positions. It

also determines how information flows between levels within the structure.

The study are also described the basic considerations in forming the

organization, the forms of ownership, the organizational charts in which the officers and

key personnel are being showed and the project schedule. In forming such, there are

basic considerations which is the purpose of the project must be restated. The previous

studies that are relevant to the organization and management must be generated. The
functions of the project will operate properly by certain factors in which in detail and

serves as the foundation of the organizational chart.

The project will be based on the different forms of ownership according to their

choice which is the single proprietorship, partnership whether general or limited,

cooperative organization such as the consumers, producers, marketing or financing.

The form of ownership determines the division of profits, extent of liability, extent of

risk, division of power, control of owner, and the long term commitment in which

cannot be altered easily.

The organizational chart represents the visual representation of an organization’s

structure. It shows the organizational relationship and activities within an organization.

Its main purpose is to divide work to be done into specific jobs and departments. It also

assigns tasks and responsibilities associated with individual jobs. It also coordinates

jobs into units. Also establishes relationship among individuals, groups and

departments. Establishes relationship among individuals, groups and departments. It

also establishes formal line of authority lastly it allocates and deploys organizational

resources.

Officers and key personnel are the specific individuals with recommendation for

certain key positions is made in this portion. Recommendations such as the educational

background, work experience and training, and net worth or each recommended must

be described. Those are the people having authority and responsibility for planning,

directing and controlling the activities of an entity, either directly or indirectly.


Project schedule is a listing of project milestone activities, and deliverables,

usually intended from start to finish dates. Before a project schedule can be created it

should have a work breakdown structure, an effort estimate for each task and resource

list with available resource. The schedule must be constantly updated. The value must

be equal base line value. The remaining efforts must be approximately distributed

among team members who take into vacation into consideration. There are two

common project schedule tools or techniques that are being used which is the GANTT

Chart and the Network diagrams or the PERT.

III. In my own understanding about the organization and management study, it is a

twin terms that exist side by side with each other, each one needs and supports the

other. Organizations will be inert and useless if there is no management that will steer

to it. Management will be hollow and meaningless if there’s no organization to manage.

In our real set up, organization and management are essential elements through which

human actions and objectives are carried out and accomplished. In a manner of

speaking, organization and management become a means to an end. In other words,

organizations consist of people who, more or less, share common objectives or

purpose.

The behavior of the organization is directed towards the attainment of theses

objectives. The members who compromise the organization work jointly in groups and

cooperate together in interdependent relationships. This suggests that organizations

structure and integrate their activities. Furthermore, organizations use knowledge and

techniques to accomplish their goals. Organizations help us to accomplish goals which


otherwise would be much more difficult, if not impossible, to achieve on an individual

basis. Organizations, like public organizations, business enterprises, hospitals, church

and military, serve the multifarious and growing needs of the people and society. For

most of us, organizations provide a means of livelihood, a vehicle to develop our career,

and a source of pride. Others even develop a strong attachment and commitment to

their organization that they’d say they are married to their jobs there.
