MANAGEMENTTHEORIES:

The managerial theories implemented in Nishat industries are as stated under;

1) Classical Approaches

 Scientific Management Theory.

Scientific Management theory was proposed by Fedrick W. Taylor in 1961.He is known as the
father of scientific management theory. In this theory Fedrick explained that the employees
should be given training and should have interest in their field.

In this company

Yes! They higher their employees which are interested in the work and they work on
their skills to enhance them even better. They see their skills and specialization to
give them opportunities but few of the employees are also reference based. The
workers get payed accordingly as some work on wages, most get payed and some are
contract based.

 Administrative Principles

Administrative theory was proposed by Henry Fayol. He explained that only top managerial line
only has authorityto bring a change or make decisions.
There are equal rights for every employee. There is discipline and hierarchy. The company
leads their employees or the workers according to the goal, vision or mission they are striving
for. The company keeps check and balance on production, employees and the goal. They
give bonuses to the good employees which the company managers like sometimes.

 Bureaucratic Organizational Theory.

This theory was proposed by Max Weber. In this theory only the top managers are responsible
for the crust or trough of the company.

They hire on the basis of merit and skills. Have a clear hierarchy of levels. Don’t hire on the
basis of like/dislike things.

2) Behavioral Management Approaches

 Mary Parker Follet

In this theory he said that the organizations should give respect to the employees and should gave
them vocational leaves if the company gets some profit to stress them out and to have more
interest in their company’s work.

If the company gets the profit after the sale, they share that profit with the employees. They
share the plan with the management and give respect to the employees.
 Elto Mayo

He said that the employees should be given leisure time in their work hours. They should be give
favor ship. So that they could stress out. So that they bring interest in their work.

The employees are focused on the work. The employees do the work on their given time.
Yes! They have given leisure time for stressing out form work.

 Theory Of ‘X’ and ‘Y’

This theory was proposed by Megragor. In this theory he said that there are two categories of
employees as X and Y category. X category employees are dealt with forceto workand the Y
category employees just do work without force.

Labor union is sometimes dealt with force, But there are some Y category employees ate
present who do their work without force.

 Theory of Human Needs.

This theory was proposed by Maslow. In this theory he told that the employees should be given
the basic needs so that they work more comfortably and more securely. Which are given below.

The employees are given the security needs (insurance etc.). The employees are known
among the organization. They are introduced to the other employees or the respective
managers. Some good employees are named as the employee of the month and or given
bonus for great work. The employees get subsidized food and shelter.
 Argyris theory
In this respective theory it was stated that the given task to the employee should vary
with time so that they do not lose their interest.

In some aspects the employees get different task but in some they remain on the same and if
they complete the task, those employees get promoted or given bonus.

Organization Culture and Environment.

 Omnipotent View of Management

There are some managers which have the maximum authority for which they do anything they
want to do. But yes they are responsible for their decisions if the company get loss they are
responsible and if the company gets the profit they are the responsible and this shows the
omnipotent view of the management.

 Symbolic View of Management

There are some managers which don’t have the authority for which they do anything they want
to do. They have the limited roles in this company. But they are not responsible for the company
lossesand the company profits and this shows the symbolic view of the management.

What is culture of an organization?

The way in which the member or the employee of an organization relate to each other of their
work and the outside world in comparison to the other organizations.
Strong Culture

If a company is having a strong culture that company is called to be a good company. In this the
company all members or the employees whether they are the managers or the employees they all
know about the values and stories of all the members and employees or the managers. They all
know about heroic and critical past stories of other employees and the organization. Some strong
culture norms are given below.
