1. Compare the Jesuits system of education (ateneo) with that of the Dominicans
(UST) in our institution.

Rizal he studied in Ateneo Municipal, a college under the supervision of the Spanish
Jesuits. His father change his mind and decided to send him to Ateneo since June 10,
1872. The Jesuits system of education of ateneo is more advanced than that of other
colleges in the period. And UST was under the Dominicans, rival of the Jesuits system
of education and rizal he remained loyal to ateneo. While Rizal is studied at UST. Don
Pablo Ramon advised him to choose medicine and Rizal shift to medical course.

Rizal didn’t enjoy his stay at UST because Hostility of Dominican Professors to him.
Racial discrimination against Filipino students.

And Rizal he Finishing Medicine at UST. Notable in all of his subjects. He was the 2 nd
best student in a class of seven who passed the medicine course.

2. Describe and explain the ways and means that Jose Rizal made use of his
talents, as well as your talent being tapped here in our institution.

Well-documented studies show that Dr. Jose Rizal was a polymath, with the ability to
master various skills and subject.

It was she who first discovered that her son had a talent for poetry. Accordingly, she
encouraged him to write poems. To lighten the monotony of memorizing the ABC’s and
to stimulate her son’s imagination, she related many stories.

3. Explain the reasons behind the decision of Rizal to go in Spain.

Reasons why Rizal to go in Spain is He was not satisfied with the method of instruction,
The practice of racial prejudice to the Filipino students by his professors in UST, To
complete his medical course in Spain, To accomplish his "secret mission".

Rizal secret mission is to observed keenly the life and culture, languages and customs,
industries and commerce, and governments and laws of the European nations in order
to prepare himself in the mighty task of liberation his oppressed people from Spanish
tyranny.

Heidelberg”

Reasons why Rizal inspired writing the poem “A Las Flores de Heidelberg” He wrote
this poem because of his yearning for Calamba, inspired hi afternoon’s musings in
Neckar river. Consequently, Rizal sent his message of love, faith and longing to his
