Discussion
The researchers can firmly say that there was enough claim
that the alternative floor wax was effective, in terms of
decreasing the coefficient of kinetic friction. Based on the
data we have gathered, the coefficient of friction evidently
decreased after the surface was applied with the alternative
floor wax. This interpretation was hereby supported by the
study of Abdollah (2015) he mentioned that a previous study
had showed that coefficient of frictions under epicarp of
banana skin; on the floor material was much lower to the
value of common materials and similar to the well lubricated
surface. He further added that a smoother worn surface
obtained was due to the polishing effect effect of lubrication
containing banana peel. This claim, however, was
contradicting the statement of Ramos (2016) when he said
that banana peelings contribute to the increase of friction
when it is applied to a specific surface.
