SCRIPT.

V: Good Morning Class. Today we’re going to continue our discussion


with a new topic. So, are you guys ready?
CLASS: Yes sir.
V: Okay, Our lesson for today is all about FRACTION.
Lets have a review on what have you learned in your elementary..
(Miss Lorvico will raise his hand and answer) Yes Ms. Lorvico.
Lorvico: In mathematics, a fraction is a number that represents a part of
a whole. It consists of a numerator and a denominator. The numerator
represents the number of equal parts of a whole, while the denominator
is the total number of parts that make up said whole. For example, ½ , ¼,
3/4 and so on.
V: That’s Correct!
Learning to know: to provide the cognitive tools required to better
comprehend the world and its complexities, and to provide an
appropriate and adequate foundation for future learning.

Jaywen: How fraction can be useful to people?


Amore: Fractions are used daily by us in during various tasks, such as
managing time, or helping your mother cook or bake a cake.
Jaywen: You’re right. Another?
Audrey: Fractions are also used by many people working as many
different thing. Scientists and chemists use fractions to measure the right
amount of a solution or chemical to use with the other ingredients to
create the wanted product
Jaywen: Very Good.
Learning to do: to provide the skills that would enable individuals to
effectively participate in the global economy and society.
Amore: So now, I will assess your knowledge about fraction. I’ve
prepared an activity where in , you’re going identify whether the fraction
of an object according on how it is being parted.
Please collect 2 pesos for the photocopy of the activity.
Learning to be: to provide self analytical and social skills to enable
individuals to develop to their fullest potential psycho-socially,
affectively as well as physically, for a all-round ‘complete person.

Danneca: Okay class, I will group you into 5 groups and then discuss
with your group mates the benefits of studying fraction in our daily life.
Please have one representative to sum up what you have shared in your
discussion.
