THE PROBLEM AND ITS BACKGROUND

INTRODUCTION

Nowadays, modernization is getting broader and bigger. People,

companies and industries have changed their practices and find new ways of handling

life’s commodities. Those changes results as a great help on our usual and daily trends,

which makes life easier than it seems. In this way, many of us can decrease and

minimize the use of their time and energy so that they can handle numerous

plans or rather pursue more within the lines.

As an outcome, as we climb higher and much further in order to grab our goal

to become a part the ‘modernization’, The researchers came up with this study

entitled ‘Gadgets in-Styles Website’. The proponents has decided to focus on an

advanced and modern way of offering Gadgets and Accessories in its most competent

and convenient way. In this proposal, people can choose or pick gadgets and/or

accessories wherever they are, as long as they have internet connection. This will allow

the users to enjoy gadget selection in their free time without going to malls.
Thus, the users would just need to create their own account to the said website in order

to start using and enjoying it. This website would not only allow the user to order online

but it also have the perks of delivery. On the other-hand, payments are still be

processed by third-party agencies such as remittance centers and banks.

A well-organized approach of this study will enhance the knowledge of the

users and the proponents. It is also a big opportunity for the researchers to apply

their computer knowledge and to develop our confidence as a practice for their

future.

The figure shows the major requirements to build and design the proposed

website. It starts from knowledge requirement, software to be use and hardware plus

the process to be taken (Analysis/Design/Development) to achieve a competent and

accessible website.
 OBJECTIVES OF THE STUDY

GENERAL OBJECTIVE:

The study attempts to create a website for ‘Gadgets in-Styles’ for a more

efficient and modern way offering best Gadgets and Accessories.

SPECIFIC OBJECTIVES:

1. The proponents will develop a website that is well-organized and can be easily

adopted by any consumers.

2. To make the features of the website more applicable for the consumers.

3. To develop a website using the application design models of PHP (front-end) and

MySQL (back-end)

4. To integrate the following features in the website

 Efficiency- for a more convenient and initiative way of selling Gadgets

and Accessories

 User-Friendliness-to promote an accessible website that is easy to be

learned and acquired.

 Security- for a better and advanced assurance that every details will be

having own privacy.

 SIGNIFICANCE OF THE STUDY

Gadgets has been one of the major things born using technological

advancement. People are constantly looking for newly released gadgets and

accessories for their own convenience.

To the Consumers- Making a website which will allow to shop best Gadgets and

good accessories online, would highly benefit the consumers in terms of time and effort.

It will be a one-stop-shop that would make their shopping more convenient and

accessible anytime.

To the Future Researchers- Future researchers can use this study as their

reference on creating an online selling website with a detailed process on how it should

work.

To the Proponents- The said website will help them for continuous improvement

in software developing skills and to contribute in terms of modernization.
