Hi everyone…welcome to English Carnival 2019 and we are proud to tell you

that there are many activities and competitions that will be carried out from
23/09/2019 till 27/09/2019. All of you are encouraged to join the competitions.
Below I have explained the rules and regulations of each competition as well as
how the competition works. Please read carefully and give your names to Pn.
Gaayatri a/p Kannan before 19/09/2019.

Level 1 (Year 1,2 & 3)

a) Story telling competition

- You have to memorize a story and tell on the day of competition as
creative as you can. You can wear costumes and props according to
your story.
b) Spelling Bee competition (Year 2 &3)
- Each level you have to spell out words that pronounced by the judge.
If you can spell the word given you can enter to the next level.

Level 2 (Year 4,5, & 6)

a) Advertisement Studio ( Group activity)

- In groups of maximum 4 members, you will be given a ‘mahjung
paper’ and marker pens only. You have to create an advertisement
about any product or services that you like. You have to present your
ideas in front of the audiences. Each audience will be given a sticker
in which they will paste on the advertisement that they like. Groups
with the highest number of stickers will be the winner.
b) Oh! My Kahoot
- This is an individual competition in which you will be joining a
Kahoot game in which the questions will be in English Language on
various topics. The winner will be selected based on the ranking.
c) Storytelling Competition
- You have to memorize a story and tell on the day of competition as
creative as you can. You can wear costumes and props according to
your story.
