1. Compose a 300 words self-introduction of yourself. Who are you, where do you
work, position, school, etc.

A cool man, sympathetic, organize, and self sufficient man as they

describe me by my friends, colleagues, and students and pupils. Even though
challenge because of great poverty and lack of means to study in high school, I
I was able to surpassed them all with the help of God. Even though I stop
for four years, God never let me stay on the ground. He lets fly until I can now
spread my wings and see the beauty of His creation, of His blessings. He showed
how He loved me, and my family by bringing us into the mountain of His grace.

I am Jomar Padlan Allam, the fourth and the youngest among the siblings.
My father is Mr. Sotero B. Allam from Cauayan City, Isabela and my mother is
Mercy F. Padlan from San Carlos City, Pangasinan. My siblings were Bryan, an
accountant Brandy, a businessman, and Anthony, an accountant. We live in
Alaminos City Pangasinan since 2011. I can proudly say that I am a product of
Alternative Learning System class of 2012 in Alaminos City, Pangasinan. I did not
take my high school anymore, it went like I jump from Elementary to College
already. I graduated at The Great Plebeian College, Alaminos City, Pangasinan
class 2017 with the degree of Bachelor of Elementary Education with flying colors
of With Distinction and Outstanding Pre-Service Teacher. By the grace of God, I
 passed the September 2017 Licensure Examination for Teachers. I work in
private school for 2 years (2017-2019) at Ednas School of Alaminos as
an elementary teacher.

Currently, I work in Telbang Elementary School, Alaminos City,

Pangasinan (Alaminos City Division) as Teacher I (Substitute) Kindergarten
Teacher.

2. Discuss your work philosophy in 200 words.

My work philosophy is that never murmur if I am still going to do it. What is the
sense of murmuring at the back of my superior if I am going to do it or to follow
the given task or order. It is better to do it silently and finish it wholeheartedly
that to say unethical words against my superior. It will be against the sight of my
colleagues, to my superior (even though he is not hearing it), and to God. It is
because for me, it is unethical as a professional if I am going to say words
against my superior. If ever I don’t like what is in the task or order, I would
rather tell it to him directly and explain in a nice way why I refuse to do it. It is
more appropriate to do like that than fighting at his back. In addition, if ever that
my superior will give me a task, I know he knows my capability and he is trusting
me do it. He believes in my capacity as he sees me that I am fit to do it with all
my will that is why every time my superior task me to do something, I analyse it,
and if I know I could do it, I immediately say YES without any words against him
at his back.

3. What are the main challenges in your work, workplace? What have you done and
what progress have you observed?

Every teacher faces challenges in their daily routine as they do their everyday
task. Fortunately, it is because they are resourceful and self-sufficient they were
able to address the problem.

In my case, one of the challenges I face is the grade level that I am teaching
now which is the Kindergarten. It is really hard for me to cope in their level first
of all because, I don’t have an Early Childhood Education units, secondly, I am
trained to teacher grade schoolers specifically intermediate grades, Grade 4,5,
and 6.
 What I do to address this challenge? I simply ask guidance from my partner/co-
teacher in Kindergarten Department. She teaches what to do and helps me
preparing everyday lesson. She is willing to help me and gives her hand trying to
reach me out. Fortunately, I can now come up with level of kids who are more
on playing, socializing, and learning with fun. It is clear to me now that
kindergarten graders should develop their fine motors, psychomotor, affective,
and cognitive through active and fun games or approach.

4. How will you intend to apply the principles and concepts you will learn from your
subject within your work/company context?

I will apply every concepts in this subjects if it is applicable to apply. It will be

useful for me because it is all about the legal basis in education. This will help
me build my knowledge about legal matters that will surely strengthen my
leadership. I am excited enough to learn a lot things in this subject because I
believe it will help me grow professionally and personally.
