D. Objective/s a. Name the letters of the Filipino and English Alphabets
b. Identify the letters of the Filipino Alphabet which are not present in the English

II. SUBJECT – MATTER Reading letters of the alphabet
Materials letter cutouts of both Filipino and English Alphabets, magnetic letters/
board picture, onset, rime, word cards and chart

A. INTRODUCTION Routine Activities (Keeping things, sitting properly, and listening readiness)
Sing alphabet song
Introducing the English and Filipino Alphabet.
B. TEACHING/ MODELING

The teacher will


discuss the similarities and difference of English from Filipino alphabet
C. GUIDED PRACTICE Groupings:
Each group will be given a set of letters. Each will name and produce the sound
of the letter. The teacher will guide the pupils in each reading and sounding.
