A. Core Competency
1. Demonstrate acceptable behavior in personal, socio-cultural, academic, and
professional environments;
2. Identifying social functions, text structure and linguistics elements of short and
simple texts, in the daily life and activities of students ;
3. Communicating interpersonal, transactional and functional about self, family and
people, animals and objects, concrete and imaginative, which are closest to the daily
lives and activities of students at home, school and community;
4. Capture the meaning and compose oral and written texts, short and simple using
the text structure in order and coherent and linguistic elements accurately,
acceptable, and fluently.

After following the learning process at this meeting, students are expected to be able

2.Impersonating pronunciation of people, objects, and animals by paying attention to

Linguistic elements
-Declarative sentences (positive and negative), and interrogative (Yes / No
question; Wh-question), in simple present tense
-Singular and plural nouns with or without a, the, this, those, my, their, etc.
-Speech, word stress, intonation, spelling, punctuation, and handwriting
