ESAB’s bulk pack of welding wires,
Marathon Pac™, is a well known product
in the market. Fewer operating interrup-
tions for wire replacement, ease of hand-
ling and high welding quality are advanta-
ges which have made it very popular all
over the world.
When the wire is spooled into the drum,
it is pretwisted using a special technique which

Marathon Pac™. It is designed for
easier and more flexible handling.
With ESAB’s Marathon Pac™
Endless version, you can weld
continuously without the need for
time-consuming interruptions to
change the wire. The solution is as
simple as it is ingenious. Two drums
causes it to emerge straight from the wel-
ding gun during welding. The straight
welding wire is easy to feed, gives reliable
starts and meets the joint with very high
precision. All of this gives high welding
quality.

The buttwelding machine is a precision tool
used for joining the welding wires. It has all the
necessary functions and tools to obtain a per-
fect and even joint which does not interfere with
the welding process.
• Wire ends are cut to give an
exact and even surface.

grooves of the electrode
holders and are welded
together.
• The welding wire is anneal-
ed to make it soft to avoid
wire breaks.
