*Korea- (15th century) when hangul
was invented,Korean scholars were

Classical Chinese by (4th century CE).

Hindu sacred writings known as Veda

commentaries such as Brahmanas &
Upanishads.
- Sanskrit (1500 BCE to 1000 CE) &
reached its height of development in
(1st to 7th centuries CE). Identified with
Brahminical religion of Vedas,
Buddhism & Jainism adopted other
literary languages (Pali &
