OVERVIEW
Special Products and Factors
 Special products are simply special cases of
multiplying certain types of binomials together.
 Factoring (called "Factorising" in the UK) is the
process of finding the factors: Factoring:
Finding what to multiply together to get an
expression. It is like "splitting" an expression
into a multiplication of simpler expressions.

Rational Algebraic Expression

 Simplify rational expression. An algebraic
expression where both the numerator and the
denominator are polynomials e.g. is called a
rational expression. Since the denominator
can't be zero there are values of x which are
excluded from the rational expression.
THAT’S EASY

 FACTORING

 The easiest topic for me is

FACTORING is an invaluable
technique that used to solved
polynomial inequalities, quadratic
equations; simplify expressions to
be easier to work.
TOUGH YET
MEMORABLE
 Linear Equation in Two
Variables
 Getting confused on some
formulas sometimes the
method I’ve use was wrong but
all in all this topic is hard but at
the same time it is exciting to
solve.

 Rational Algebraic
Expression

 This is my favourite topic of

the first quarter where
numerator and denominator is
polynomials . This is useful to
know because, often
polynomials can be factored.
