Procedure 1
Save the EVR data of the machine in which a board is going to be replaced. Download the saved data after a
board is replaced.
Procedure 2
Remove the EEPROM from the board of the machine that is going to be repaired. Install the removed EEPROM
to the replaced board.
Procedure 3
When the data cannot be saved due to defective EEPROM, or when the EEPROM cannot be removed or in-
stalled, save the data from the same model of the same destination, and download it.

In some adjustment items, the calculation of SEUS displayed data 1. Setting the Test Mode
(hexadecimal) is needed to check the specified data or to acquire
the adjustment data. In such a case, prepare a computer capable of Page 2F Address 21
calculating hexadecimal numbers.
Also, the data at two addresses are read, which are treated as 2 Data Function
bytes of upper 1 byte and lower 1 byte (4-digit hex. number), to

Displayed data at upper 1 byte address 09 Forced SET UP mode
• Before setting the data, select page: 00, address: 01, and set
data: 01.
• In the case of page 2F, writing the data by clicking [Write] on
the SEUS screen causes the data to be written to the nonvolatile
memory. In this case, the Test mode is not released even if the
set is turned off, thus requiring extreme care.
• After the adjustment/repair finished, be sure to return the data
to “00” to restore the Normal mode. Also, select page: 00, ad-
dress: 01, and set data: 00.
