 Descriptive paragraphs

A descriptive paragraph is a focused and detail-rich account of a specific

topic. Paragraphs in this style often have a concrete focus—the sound of a
waterfall, the stench of a skunk's spray—but can also convey something
abstract, such as an emotion or a memory. Some descriptive paragraphs do
both. These paragraphs help readers feel and sense the details that the writer
wants to convey.

LETTER TO YOUR PARENTS FOR MONEY TO BUY A VEHICLE

Dear Mom and Dad,

How are you? I hope that you both are fine. I really appreciated you taking time
out of your very busy day to read this letter. I m sure that you both know that how
much I love you even if I don’t at all act like it. You both are very special to me
and sculpted me into a wonderful person that I m today. You both have always
been there for me and have given things up for me. Now I would like you to
concentrate and try to understand me while you read this letter and understand my
side of story.

I am writing this letter to inform you on a proposition that I have. We have

discussed about this kind of topic many times before and you have turned me down
every time. I have heard every reason from both of you for not being at my corner
and I completely understand the reasons. This is the last time I will ask but let me
try to persuade you to come over to my side. My proposition might be farfetched
but it never hurts to try. So I want to tell you that I have been saving money in the
bank for purchasing the vehicle when I turn 26 and I may not have enough money
to purchase a vehicle on my own. What I am proposing is that you as my

wonderful and loving parents would give me a loan to fulfill the rest of the amount
I am missing.

I understand that you want to know that how I am going to pay money back that
you might loan to me. Well I am planning to get a job. I am going to apply for a
job in a school. This is what I am planning to give the money back and pay the
insurance.

I know that this is not such a fabulous idea. I totally understand why you would be
skeptical of my responsibility of getting a job and being able to juggle the
university at the same time. I can see where you come from when you say “How
can you be responsible for a car and loan when you don’t remember to do
household chores when asked”. Yes I forget many times my chores. I will admit
that but, I can promise you this that I will do my chores one hundred percent all the
time if you do this for me.

In conclusion, if you both gave me the loan for the vehicle I would be so elated. If
I got a car you would not have to chauffeur me around from practices. It would
definitely teach me responsibility and freedom. It would help me to be a mature
young adult that can depend on me to maintain my car with my own money with a
little help from you both. I will be very thankful to you if you will consider the
above .I love you both
