Comments:
1. BOTH SDMA AND CREATININE ARE WITHIN THE REFERENCE INTERVAL which indicates kidney
function is likely good. Evaluate a complete urinalysis and confirm there is no
other evidence of kidney disease.
2. Index of ++++ may increase AST and CPK by 25-50%, and decrease ALP by >50%,
decrease Total and Direct Bilirubin by 25-50%, and decrease SDMA by 10-25%.
3. Index of N, 1+, 2+ exhibits no significant effect on chemistry values.

Comments:
1. Effective October 2nd, urine protein will be measured by a colorimetric reagent
strip (automated dipstick) method which provides high correlation to quantitative
urine protein and urine protein: creatinine (UPC) ratio. Learn more at
www.idexx.com/urineprotein.
