Capitalism A Love Story Reaction Paper
Capitalism a love story is all about the different
testimonies and perspectives of different people who had
experience the process of capitalism in the society that was
greatly affected the American lives.
From the beginning of the documentary, it was already shown
that there was already a lost of houses that was inadequate with
no voice in the society that was we called to be capitalism.
Whereas, if you are not going to pay tax, they will take your
house. The process of capitalism occurs when corporations are
the one who controls a certain country in order for them to gain
profit. This kind of political system has its advantages and
disadvantages for every individual like for example in the
documentary, there are jobs were eliminated and they don’t have
anything to do about it and they only receive a low salary
compared to the profit of the owner’s or company’s productivity.
There was already a bias happened because only the private
owners benefit from it and they took advantage the people who
have a small business in which once they go bankrupt, they could
buy it for cheap and build or expand their own corporations.
These private owners wanted to have this capitalism because of
their incentives to be rich encourage innovation wherein they
only mind themselves and never understand the situation of their
employees. Employees that have been through for work force that
they don’t even deserve. Uneven distribution of wealth and it
only exploits the people who cannot compete. Employees paid less
than the manager.
Capitalism allows you to get away with anything like making
a profit of the death of the employee which they called to be
the dead peasants. From the documentary shows the injustice of
capitalism that is contrary to good and it doesn’t provide a
well-being of the people. Business owners are more likely to
have leaders who are promoting a capitalism rather than
democracy wherein it is a form of government that is ruled by
the people who has the power of voting. They do not like this
kind of system because it is much more than the process of free
and fair elections rather than capitalism which they allow
private owners to play the market. They took the taxes of the
people for their own good that seems to be unfair and injustice
for the person who doesn’t own corporations. From the department
of treasury of America, they do not allow banks to check and
what to do with the money. When we compare capitalism from other
kind of government, we cannot really avoid corrupt leaders.
When Ex-president Obama run for the position of president,
people are more in favor for him because he was used to be a
“socialist” wherein they decided to break the law in order to
help the people. The time that the people are free from the
system of capitalism, they are now free to have the job and
salary that they deserve. This change has greatly helpful to the
people who pay their taxes because the business owners or
corporations are no longer the one who holds the society’s money
but it is well distributed for the people’s need. Why always the
poor screaming for help? It is just fight for the right and do
not be ashamed to stand and be a voice of change against the
wrong system of capitalism or even from different form of
government who are ruled by corrupt leaders.
