THE SISTER SCHOOL AGREEMENT

School: COLEGIO TERRAVIDA DE PUERTO VARAS – CHILE

These two schools will establish a SISTER-SCHOOL relationship for the purpose of
increasing mutual understanding and mutual friendship and the promotion of better
understanding of the economy, culture, history and customs of the two countries
involved and the schools involved.

The following elements will become part of the sister-school relationship:

 The exchange of textbooks, school newspapers and school yearbooks.

 The exchange of environmental education materials that would enhance mutual
understanding of the environmental issues, including writings, photographs, video,
audio tapes and others.
 The exchange of materials that would help to explain the cultural and historical
factors and economic conditions which have influenced environmental conservation
and enhancement approaches in the two countries.
 Communication among students at both schools through letters, photographs, video,
drawings and Internet.
 The exchange of teachers and students for short term visits to share ideas and
experiences related to environmental awareness and education.

As part of this agreement, these two schools agree to examine the financial aspects of an
exchange of teachers and students, in order to make the exchange mutually acceptable
and under the possibilities of both schools.
