Information Communication technology to the Grade 11-12 students of Saint John Institute of
arts and sciences.

Research Design and Methodology

This CHAPTER presents the researchers procedure in the conduct of the

study as well as the research design in order to give systematic presentation and
analysis of the material at hand.

Research Design

The research focuses on the Advantages of Using Gadgets to academic

performance this chapter contains a methodology use in the conduct of the study
it incorporated the respondents of the study, the instrument utilize to gather data
and the procedure made to accumulate the data needed, this chapter shows how
the researchers came to the necessary data of the study

This a Historical Research Design , the purpose of this research is to collect,

verify and synthesize evidence from the past to establish facts that defend or
refute your hypothesis . Also the purpose of this Historical Research is to help us
or to have knowledge that we don't know yet by the help of collecting, verifying
and synthesizing evidence.
SETTINGS OF THE STUDY

The research is all about The Advantages of using Gadgets to academic

performance of grade 12 students was developed and formulated Saint John
Bosco Institute Arts and Science located at 1752 General Luna Street Barangay
Ampid II, San Mateo, Rizal during their Academic Year 2018-2019. Since the study
is classified as Historical research, researchers did their research at one place
bringing their laptop, they read similar research at the internet which guided
them in preparing their work.

Saint John Bosco Institute of Arts and Sciences Ampid Campus is divided in
two buildings which are the main building and the annex building. These are the
other places were the other branch located. Pasig, Antipolo, Guadalupe, San
Mateo, Mandaluyong, Laguna, Makati and Angono.

The Saint John Bosco Institute of Arts and Sciences in 1996. The Owner was
Mr. Mark Sherwin Cruz decided to make it as Senior HighSchool because of the
Department of Education K - 12 Program. Under these he offers Technical-
Vocational-Livelihood (TVL) and it has two strand which is Information
Communication Technology (ICT) and Home Economics (HE).

It came from the students that use gadgets in Saint John Bosco Institute of
Arts and Science that supposed to be our primary respondents for our
problem/topic which needed to find out what other things happened to those
respondents, they need to answer our survey questionnaire to identity the things
happened to them, can help to obtain more information about the Advantages of
using Gadgets to academic performance students of Saint John Bosco Institute of
Arts and Sciences Ampid Campus School Year 2018-2019.

The researchers also include the information taken from the internet that it
gives an specific briefly and classify information that only source of internet can
answer it.
Research Procedure

Before the researchers conduct the study about the Advantages of Using
Gadgets to Academic Performance of Grade 11 Students they started first with
planning followed by writing and evaluating in the first box. It includes the basic
planning or pre-writing of what outline their are going to follow then they will
proceed in collecting information needed for the study from the internet, and
people who make a response to the questionnaire. On the second box under
writing. It includes construction of the guides question to use in evaluating the
Advantages of Using Gadgets of Academic Performance of Students in Saint John
Bosco and one the last box under evaluating the researchers evaluate the guide
question they made from the statement of the problem.
