Dear Parents,
The festive season brings with it a series of festivals and celebrations. Along with it also comes
the first major pen-paper exam, the Summative-1 / First Term Exam. Kindly share your time with
children to monitor their preparation for the same. We would like to put across the following for
you to take serious note of
*. According to the norms set by the Board, the answer scripts have to be preserved for cross-
verification if needed. Hence they will not be given to the students.
* Please motivate your children to prepare well for the exam as the scores of this exam are added
cumulatively from ninth class onwards in the Final grade sheet of X class.
*PTM is planned in a way that it leaves a one hour time gap between the Primary and Secondary
sessions. Kindly maintain the timings to avoid traffic congestion.
* In spite of repeated reminders parents are found loitering in school campus and also escorting
children right up to the class room. Please avoid doing so and cause breach in school discipline.
Safety of children is our prime concern. All the gates except the main gate are closed by 8.10
itself. Risk of children going out of the campus is eliminated absolutely.
* Some parents are also found walking straight to classrooms to meet teachers. Please avoid
doing so. You are required to report to respective coordinators first who in turn will arrange your
meeting with the teachers concerned.
* Kindly ensure that the fee payment is up to date. Spare us and your children the embarrassment
of fee reminders.
* It is noticed that small children running high temperatures are brought to school for taking
exam. Kindly avoid doing that as in small classes it is not a big issue to skip a test.
* School will work half day from 19th to 30th September during the exam period. Classes Nursery
to UKG will work between 8 and 11.30 a.m and the rest of the classes from 8 a.m to 12.30 p.m.
The buses leave the campus at 12.30 p.m
* A short post SA-1 break will be given to students from 1st to 3rd October 2015.
* II term begins from 5th October
* Parent teacher meeting on 10 October
8.30 – 10 a.m. classes LKG-V
9.30 – 11 a.m classes VI-XII
* Dassara vacation starts on 14.10 2015. School reopens after the break on 26.10 2015.
