TOPIC OF THE BOARD DISPLAY: Announcement, bulletin board

ANALYSIS
1. Did the board display design reflect the likes/interests of its target audience? Why? Why
not?
Yes it did, the board are made with artistic design and colorful border
materials that can hold the attention of the learners. The combination
color of the bulletin board is attractive to the audience and designed
depending upon to the theme of the board display. Regarding the
content, the board display provides additional knowledge from the
gathered information that catch the interest of the reader.
2. Was the language used clear and simple for the target audience to understand? Why?
Why not??
Yes, the words/language used are simple and clear. The message is
precise, consistent, accurate and appropriate to the level of
understanding of the reader. The words font style and size is visible and
readable to be clearly seen at a good distance.
3. What do you think was the purpose of the board display? Was it effective? Why? Why not?
Rationale:To motivate, inspire,and acquire the lesson from the word of God.
Objective:
To encourage students, especially in academic and professional realm,
in reading the Bible.
To strengthen Bible readership.
To teach the students about the right values.

REFLECTIONS
1. Name at least 5 skills that a teacher should have to be able to come up with
effective board displays. Elaborate on why each skill is needed
In my own understanding regarding on how to create effective and useful
bulletin board, teacher should have this5 skills as follows:
a. Resourceful- The available materials within the school or those cheap
materials will be used. It doesn’t need to be expensive to look nice. This
will also give ideas to the reader.
b. Informative- The teacher must knowledgeable in making the lesson or
topic and reflection that relevant by the verse of the day.
c. Artistic- The teacher must have the ability to be imaginative to think
beyond. In combining the color and associating the design with the
theme and purpose of the board. This will be useful for the reader to be
able to hold the interest and catch the attention.
d. Organizational skills- This includes grouping and arranging content in
meaningful way.
e. Creative thinker - Finding the best way to improve and level up the idea
with this ability teacher will be able to think different and unique from the
other bulletin board.
2. Which of the skills do you already have? Recall your past experiences in
making board displays. How do you practice these skills?
Creative thinker and artistic skills, though I don’t have the
experience on how to design board display yet but I have this
ability that I observed in myself when making a scrapbook,
projects, and some other assignments that required to design. I
just practice this skills every time I do art works.
3. Which skills do you still need to develop? Reflect on how you can improve
on or acquire these skills.
What I want to improve and enhance to my skills is also being a
creative thinker and artistic, though I have my past experiences
but still I want to innovate and try new things to create a effective
bulletin board display.
