Title : JHCSC – Dumingag Campus Faculty Management Information System

Executive Summary

Management Information Systems are commonly used nowadays for the purposes of
automation of transactions and to create a wider variety of ways in generating reports and more reliable
synchronization of information in an organization. The use of information systems in an organization
would be beneficial on the management and organization of important information in an organization.

Statement of the Problem

JHCSC Dumingag Campus is a state college is Zamboanga del Sur which is one of the tertiary
education schools which provides competent graduates and professionals. The institution itself is still
using the traditional way in faculty information gathering, which takes a lot of paper works, inaccurate
information and time issues are concerning the said organization. The proposal is created to have an
automation on the Faculty Profiling of JHCSC Dumingag Campus to solve the issues.

Objectives of the Project

With the problems encountered by the administration, the construction of an automated

Faculty Profiling of JHCSC Dumingag Campus will be created which aims to address the issues. The
system aims to provide the following;

1. Updated profiles of faculty in the institution.

2. Accurate information of faculty.
3. Generate reports on the list of faculties.

Scope and Limitation

The project proposed is only for the usage of the JHCSC Dumingag Campus administration. The
system will be limited only to the Faculty of the JHCSC Dumingag Campus.

Significance

The importance of the proposed system is to provide accurate information on the faculty
profiles of JHCSC Dumingag Campus. The system wishes to address the basic operational issues
concerning information gathering on the said organization.
