Introduction

Work immersion is a part of the K-12 Senior high school curriculum at the

Department of Education (DepEd) that aims to train students about working an actual job

for their future career. According to the DepEd, students require to get experience in

school. It is also one of the requirements for graduation. A senior high school student have

to undergo work immersion in an industry that directly relates to the students goal.

With the passage of the enhanced Basic Education Act of 2013 of republic act 10533,

the DepEd was tasked to implement the K to 12 program. By adding two years of

specialization within the basic educational system, DepEd designed the implementation of

RA 10533 within the framework of increased community involvement in the learner’s

experience. Through community involvement , the DepEd offers venues for various

stakeholders to participate in the implementation of RA 10533.

The purpose of immersion is to provide students opportunity in near future career

The Benefits of work immersion for me, I must say that I grew up more matured

after work immersion. My personality changed compared before immersion. I enhance my

skills in interacting different people . I’ve become more dedicated in doing my work. This

experience will surely helped as a individual especially in seeking jobs.

As a trainee it would be a great helped if everyone in the work place are doing their

job quickly so that they’ve come up to assign time. As a leader they also shared their

knowledge on how to enhance ourselves in doing such job.

Throughput the experiences that We’ve worked, this is the Compilation of my hard

work to become successful in life.

REFLECTION
*What I have learned from the experience?

During my work immersion I learned a lot of things, like how to deal with other people,

learn to handle new things, learned from your mistake even if it is small or big mistakes and

learned to explore new ideas and thoughts in this experience. I’ve learned how to improve

myself in terms of interact to other people especially to those who are superior than me. In the

beginning of this work immersion I thought it will be very hard and rough for me to adopt the

environment of the place especially that this new to me but as the times goes by I knew to

myself that there’s something about me got changed and improved. I also learned on how to

please a person politely and know where you stand as a trainee over the superiors.

In the work immersion I learned that if you and your company trainee helping each

other to finish some tasks it help you to save some time for other task given by your supervisor

and if you work as a team work the task given to you will finish easily, because I believe

teamwork is one of the step in progress. I honestly new when it comes to such foreign tasks but

I try to do it by asking my supervisor on how to do it so that I can do it correctly. In this

immersion I learned on how to weak up early so that I can be on the work place on time.

Through this experience as a trainee I learned how to balanced my time, how to do

work in a real workplace like NCIP. Through the guidance of my supervisor in doing such task in

the office it helps me to become more productive and responsible for the task that given to me

also, it motivate me to work hard to become successful individual.

CAREER PLAN

Career planning is the ongoing process or step by step where you explore your interest

and abilities, strategically plan your career goals and create future work successful by designing

learning and action plans to help you achieve your goals

This career planning essay answers the question “Future plans after graduation.” We all

aware that before and after graduation we are planning for our future. We usually think on how

we become successful in life and to achieve our own dreams.

I want to prove myself that I’m not just a student who have a big dream but a student

who has the dedication and passion on the things that I’ve do. As a senior high school and

currently taking the academic track Science Technology Engineering and Mathematics my latest

goal for now is to pass all the given tasks and examination for me to graduate, then I’ll take an

entrance exam on my chosen college for me to pursue my future career which is engineering.

As an individual and a student I can say that I did a good job. Lastly I want to graduate in senior

high school with a lot of things that I can share to my classmates when I’m officially in college.

After I graduate in senior high school I want to spend my college in Camarines Sur

polytechnic college and taking a Bachelor of Science in civil engineering. Although I’m not really

good in solving some problems in mathematics this is not an excuse for me not to take the

career that I want for the future.

Then after I graduate College, I’ll take an licensure examination for civil engineering and

hopefully if I’m going to pass I will apply immediately to those company that needs a civil

engineer like me and from that I can earn money for myself and especially to my family . I’ll do

everything just to ensure my job so that I can give the things that I’ve promised and wanted to

give to my family and for myself and if everything and if everything is settled that is the right

time for me to take the next level of my life.

Week 1 ( January 14-18, 2019 )

On our first day, Ma’am Mela Gonzales accompany me and my group mates to our

workplace which is the NCIP when we arrived we sign in the logbook given by the lady guard

and she told us to wait outside because there is a meeting happening inside the building and

after almost an hour of waiting the lady guard told us to go inside because the meeting is

already done. Inside NCIP we met Ma’am Ibyang one of the personnel of the NCIP and brought

us to the library from there Ma’am Ibyang start the orientation she reminds us about the dos

and don’t also their rules and regulations inside the premises. So to sum up my first day its just

all about orientation especially that we are new and a trainee of the NCIP.

Second Day, Ma’am Ibyang divided us into groups that will serve to the different

department and I’m luckily assign in the TMSD Department that I’ll spend with my 80 hours as a

trainee and for the last day of the week Ma’am Rhynette whose one of the person that

supervise us and she assigned me to scanned the 2016 Files but as a first timer I have no idea

on how to operate a scanner so Ma’am Rhynette teached me on how to operate a scanner . So,

I can say that my first week is such a productive for me as a student.

Week 2 ( January 21-25, 2019 )

On my second week I continue to scan the 2016 files with my group for us to finish it

quickly next Ma’am Rhynette taught us on how to operate a photocopy machine and after we

learned on how to operate the machine Ma’am Rose one of the personnel of the TMSD

requested to photocopy some important documents and I’m the one she called to do her

request. In every week there is an instance that all the order for us to do is kind of the same

always like photocopy, sorting, received and etc. In my second week I learned a lot of things

especially some of the things that Its hard for me to do.

Week 3 ( January 28 – February 1, 2019 )

In my third week of my immersion we ordered to do the same things like the second

week , We do Photocopy, sorting, filing and recording of some document given by Ma’am

Rhynette.

Week 4 ( February 4 – 8, 2019)

On my fourth week, as a trainee we assisted some personnel in the TMSD because there

is a event where in there’s a need of people so we requested to assist them in the third floor.

Week 5 ( February 12-14, 2019 )

On my last week same order and routines . We do a lot of things before our 80 hours

end, and after we go home of that day Ma’am Imee requested to take a picture of us with them

that TMSD Family and that was so very great feeling for us a trainee.
