My ideal summer holiday

Hi, my name is Laura. This is the picture of me and my family

- my husband Tom and our son David. My ideal summer
destination is the Maldives. I've always wanted to go there.
The Maldives is a group of islands in the Indian Ocean. It's
best known for its beautiful white-sand beaches and crystal
clear, sky-blue water. I would like to go there with my family
some day.
We would go there by plane and we would stay in a bungalow by the shore. We would
only stay there for 10 days, because accommodation in the Maldives is quite
expensive. We would go to the beach every day,
sunbathe, swim, collect beautiful seashells on
the beach and make sandcastles, which I'm sure
little David would enjoy doing. We would also
go boat-sailing and diving because we would
like to see all the beautiful creatures that live
under water. We would eat lots of ice cream
and different exotic fruits like papaya, dragon
fruit and coconut!
I would bring 2 swimsuits, some T-shirts and shorts, as well as a
sunhat, and some sun lotion (to avoid a sunburn!), and some flip
flops to wear on the beach. I'd also bring my favourite book to
read. I would like to visit the fish market and buy some fresh sea
food, like different kinds of fish, octopus, shrimp and sea shells
which we would then cook for dinner!
