Vocabulary
Line- in poetry represents a sentence or clause in poetry

Stanza- a group or set of lines in a poem, followed by a line break

Line break- is a pause in a poem that carries the theme to the next line

Rhyme- rhyming of words or phrases at the end of a line of poetry

Rhyme pattern- AABBCC (rhythm) cadence beat sound

Repetition- the repeating of words or phrase within a poem to emphasize its meaning

Tone- author’s attitude( emotions) Mood- reader’s (you) emotions
