LOCAL GOVERNMENT UNIT

Local government units are institutional units whose fiscal, legislative

and executive authority extends over the smallest geographical areas
distinguished for administrative and political purposes. In this case, our
municipality gave a seminar to us teachers on what are the things to do
and must not do in an earthquake. And for us teachers, we taught our
students the drills during an earthquake calamity.

Sir Kenneth, a Geologist explain to us the different intensity scale of an

earthquake. Other than that, he also explain to us the difference between
magnitude and intensity.
 The teacher participants are demonstrating the tectonic plate theory
through their hands.

Ma’am Kaye Yuzon, our beloved supervisor explain to us the three

steps during an earthquake calamity.

After our municipality orient to us the different steps and the things
we need to do during an earthquake. We transfer the information to our
pupils through an EARTHQUAKE DRILL.

After the second bell, the pupils were instructed to go outside with
their hands up in their head.
 The pupils sat with their hands in their head and are sitting calmly
during the earthquake drill.
