 Re-write a recent writing assignment. Write an explanation of the mistakes you

made originally, and a short reflection about this exercise.

1) Was this topic interesting for you? Why / why not?

The topic most interesting about the movies or cinema is genre, because there is any word
that I didn’t know, too because I could confuse with other genres. Now I can recognize film´s
genre.

Yes, it was. For me, it was interesting because I learnt about movies, cinema and “genre”. The
last one was a concept that I didn’t know and, in general, I had a big confusion of types of
genre, but now I can recognize films’ genre.

2) For you, what was the best thing about this topic? Why?

The best thing about this topic is achieve change the order of words in the sentence, because I
thing that “The passive voice” is a lot of complicated when you try describe something and
understand.

The best thing about this topic is to be able to change the order of the words in specific
sentences. It seems to me that “Passive voice” is really complicated when you are describing
the situation, but at the same time you have to understand all the sense of the statement in
order to explain and write that one properly.

3) What was difficult for you about this topic? Why?

The Passive voice was the topic difficult, because I didn´t practice the sentences in this form.

The difficult one was the passive voice because normally I don’t practice or use sentences in
the tense or form.

4) Which part of your English is a priority for you at the moment? Why?

At the moment, I think that is a priority learn the vocabulary, because the tenses or the
structures are more difficult than the words, you can have a conversation without any of
grammatical structure, but the vocabulary help me.

Now I consider my priority is the vocabulary’s acquisition. I know that the tenses and the
structure are aspects with a high complexity level, but I think that I can carry out a kind of
conversation with someone using some grammatical structure in which the vocabulary is really
essential; it helps me a lot.

5) If you had the chance to start this topic again, what advice would you give yourself?

I will advice to miself that I need review “The passive voice”, and learn vocabulary about the
Cinema.

I will advise to myself that I have to check step by step “The passive voice”, and to learn more
vocabulary about “Cinema” using flashcards, word’s lists, or images to memorize.
