DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Raw material Inspection -Verifying certificates of the raw materials as per requirements and
standards. Inspects heat number, fittings, rating, Chemical composition, Mechanical properties,
dimensions and physical appearance according to the place where it will be used and or as per
required standards.
• Daily fit up inspection and monitoring piping material parameters.
• Bevel inspection as per approved WPS.
• Verifying drawing revision status using at site, checking tools using are correct and working
environment is set for doing fit up at site.
• Conduct fit-up inspection for uneven pipe thickness as per ASME B31.3.
• Inspection of piping construction activities as per ASME B31.3 and project specification.
• Conduct flange face inspection as per ASME B16.5 & B16.47.
• Inspection in shop spool fabrication and implementing spool identification systems as per
approved procedure.

• Pipe internal cleaning inspection, isometric additional joints make up and review, line
routing and weld map updating.
• Witness for reinforcement Pad Pneumatic test.
• As per isometric drawing, verifying the flow direction of in line equipment and line checking
had to be done.
• Line verification and visual inspection of plant piping and preparing punch list after
installation as per approved test package.
• Verifying punches are cleared at site and assist the client to close the same.
• Checking and preparing as built revision of isometric drawing and P&ID..
• Submitting the inspection requests to the client for various piping inspection accordance with
the approved inspection and test plan.
• Witness pressure testing activities as per approved pressure testing procedure.
• Verifying the calibration certificates of pressure testing equipment pressure gauges, pressure
relief valve and manifold.
• Verifying water test reports as per approved procedure.
• Checking the vent and drain point location and number of pressure gauge to be used in test
package system.
• Inspection of reinstatement activity -gasket installation, flow direction of in line equipment,
all support installation as per isometric and P&ID.

• Assure all technical documents relative to site quality control are at current status.
• Day to Day planning and co-ordination of QA/QC activities.
• Co-ordination with client, Owner and subcontractors for various inspection activities.
• Prepare and issue of non-conformance reports/Surveillance reports.

• Site inspection and respective documentation and control.
• Prepare detailed records and reports at all inspections conducted at the site and maintain
the quality control documentation.

• Knowledge in preparation of pressure test reports, flushing reports, lay up reports and final
Reinstatement.
• Responsible for assuring and controlling the work quality as per the approved specification
and drawings.
