Hyperbaric Environmental Control Unit

The Hyperbaric Environmental Control Unit is used to condition the hyperbaric environment for the well-being
and health of the inhabitants within the Chamber up to a depth of 300MSW.

The unit installed outside the chamber is coupled with the Chamber Conditioning Unit (CCU) situated inside
the Chamber. Its functions are to control the temperature and humidity of the Chamber environment.

The system (HECU & CCU) consists of two main utilities that work in separate streams i.e. Chilled water
stream and heated water stream. This allows for a temperature exchange between the chamber atmosphere
and the chilling / heating coils in the CCU thus controlling the temperature and humidity.

The HECU unit is designed to operate automatically and can be controlled remotely or manually.
