OBJETIVO: Establecer Procedimientos estándar de operación en caso de Incendio

CONDUCTOR: SI USTED DETECTA O SE VE INVOLUCRADO EN UN INCENDIO, DEBE:

- Mantener la calma
- Suspender inmediatamente las actividades que desarrolla
- Activar alarma
- Interrumpir inmediatamente suministro eléctrico a equipos y maquinaria

- Realizar un diagnóstico de daños (destrucción y/o contaminación de
superficies.)
- Realizar la gestión de los residuos
- Notificar del accidente a los propietarios de las fuentes e Servicio Geológico
Colombiano y rendir un informe sobre lo ocurrido.
- Hacer un diagnóstico de daños y un inventario de recursos con el fin de
detectar necesidades.
- Reprogramar nuevo compromiso de entrega de la mercancía
- Confirmar entrega final al cliente

Se debe tener en cuenta la posibilidad de que se haya fundido involuntariamente

una fuente peligrosa y, si se sospecha que tal es el caso:

- Notificar de inmediato a la autoridad competente en materia de

respuesta a emergencias;
- Interrumpir todas las fases del proceso que se consideren afectadas y
- Adoptar disposiciones para efectuar una monitorización a fin de
determinar El alcance de la contaminación;
- Adoptar todas las medidas necesarias para evitar que los materiales
radiactivos se sigan dispersando;
- Suspender la expedición o retirada de la instalación de cualesquiera
productos de metal o desechos que pudieran estar contaminados;
- Notificar a las organizaciones que pudieran haber recibido cualesquiera
productos contaminados
- Realizar (o adoptar disposiciones para que se realice) una evaluación
radiológica integral de la situación a fin de determinar la naturaleza y el
alcance de la contaminación.
